Peintre celebre de la fin du XIXe, Jakub Schikaneder est contemporain de Grimshaw et certaines de ses scenes nocturnes et melancoliques ne sont pas sans le rappeler. J'ai eu envie de dedier une page a cet artiste talentueux avec lequel je partage les origines pragoises.
Famous artist of the end of the XIXth century, Jakub Schikaneder was contemporary to Grimshaw and some of his melancolic nocturnal scenes strongly remind us of the latter. I wanted to dedicate a page to this excellent artist with whom I share czech origins.
