Despite the quantity of paintings Atkinson Grimshaw produced over his life, only a few are in public galleries and museums while a number of them belong to private collections. They remain rarely seen and this probably contributed to the relative obscurity of the artist. Still, here is a list of all the public collections where a few of Grimshaw's paintings can be viewed.
